Inspired by Sapta Sindhu

PunyaPrayana is larger than a destination or a trip.

It is a growing initiative for how we journey, receive, learn, serve and live. Its streams are distinct, yet they may also meet and merge — just as rivers do.

The name

Punya and Prayana

Punya suggests what is auspicious, beneficial and aligned with a greater good.

Prayana is a setting forth — an onward movement, a passage or a journey.

Together, PunyaPrayana expresses a purposeful movement towards the sacred.

Inspired by Sapta Sindhu

PunyaPrayana begins in Amritsar, in present-day Punjab. The initiative draws inspiration from the remembered flow of Sapta Sindhu and from the way rivers retain their own identity while still nourishing one another.

Seven connected streams

The streams give the initiative clarity across journeys, hospitality, learning, seva, food, culture and community. They are not isolated compartments; new offerings may emerge wherever two or more streams meet naturally.

Seven streams

Distinct directions, one shared Prayana.

Each stream has a clear purpose. Together, they allow PunyaPrayana to grow without forcing every idea into a single offering.

01

Sattva

Food, nourishment and conscious Aahaar.

02

Sanskriti

Living culture, art, craft and wearables.

03

Sangama

Gatherings, dialogue and shared experiences.

04

Satkara

Stay and thoughtful hospitality.

05

Svadhyaya

Katha, literature, language, a growing reading library and learning.

06

Seva

Supporting meaningful work.

07

Sadhana

Journeys and inward movement.

Active now

Satkara, Svadhyaya and Sadhana are already in motion.

The first live expressions are intentionally connected rather than separated into isolated offerings.

Satkara + Svadhyaya

Thoughtful stays, with space to read and reflect.

SatwikStayATQ is the present expression of thoughtful hospitality. Its in-house collection of more than 50 books also begins the Svadhyaya stream, with reading across dharma, history, civilisational thought and publications from respected traditional publishers.

Sadhana

Begin with Amritsar.

Amritsar is a present stop within the Sadhana stream, with six journey options that can be selected or adapted around the seeker's requirements.

Sattva remains partially active because food and nourishment already shape the initiative. Sanskriti, Sangama and Seva remain part of the wider direction and will grow when there is a meaningful offering to support them.
